This privacy notice provides you with details of how we collect and process your personal data through use of our website or through information provided to us in any other way for processing, in connection with our services. How we get your personal data and why we have it 

SOAR TYP GROUP LTD are a professional services company, that deliver consultancy services to businesses, leadership development solutions and coaching solutions. Most of the information we process is provided to us directly by you for the following reasons: 

  • To deliver consultancy services to you.  
  • To provide coaching and development activities to you. 
  • To advertise and promote our service offerings to our customers. 

We may collect data about you from data you have directly provided to us (for example, through a form that you have completed through our website, by sending us emails and through third parties that we use to provide services to you such as:  

  • Facet 5 and OPP (psychometric providers) 
  • Google (analytics provider)
  • LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok (Social network providers) and 
  • Aggregators to provide sales leads such as Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Dripify and Active campaigns.  

During our development and coaching activities, in addition to information such as your name, contact details, job role and employment details in which we have a legitimate interest, we may also collect sensitive personal information, in the form of health information, diversity-related information, family information, faith and religious information, and medical conditions. If you are receiving coaching from us, we will also process any additional information that you choose to provide to us during the coaching sessions.  

If you are receiving development or coaching from us, we use your personal data to understand more about you and to assist you with understanding your skills and areas for development/ improvement, or for future opportunities or additional development options that may support you. 

How long we keep your data

We will only retain your data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collect it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting or reporting requirements. When deciding what the correct amount of time is to keep data, we look at its amount nature and sensitivity, potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure, the processing purposes, if these can be achieved by other means and legal requirements, for example; Coaching and/ or Development information will not be held for longer than 12 months following the completion of our services.  

For tax purposes however the law requires us to keep basic information about our customers including contact, identify, financial and transactional data for six years after they stop being customers. 

In some circumstances we may anonymise your personal data for statistical purposes in which case we may use this information indefinitely without further notice to you.

Personal Data 

Includes personal identifiers, contacts, and characteristics (for example, name, job title, and contact details i.e. business email address and phone number). We process this data to allow us to supply our services to you. Our lawful ground for processing this data is to fulfil our duties in relation to the performance of a contract between you and us and also in taking steps, at your request, to enter into such a contract. 

Communication Data 

Includes any communication that you send to us whether that be through the ‘contact us’ form on our website, through email, text, social media, or any other form of communication that you send us. We process this data for the purposes of communicating with you, and for record keeping. Our lawful ground for processing your data is our legitimate interests which, in this case, are to reply to communications sent to us. 

Customer Data 

Includes data relating to any purchases of services such as your name, title, billing address, delivery address, email address, phone number and contact details. Our lawful ground for processing this data is to fulfil our duties in relation to the performance of a contract between you and us and in taking steps, at your request, to enter into such a contract.

User Data (Website and Online Services)

Includes data about how you use our website and any online services. We process this data to operate our website and to ensure relevant content is provided to you, to ensure the security of our website, other online services and business. Our lawful ground for processing this data is our legitimate interests which are to enable us to properly administer our website and business. 

Technical Data 

Includes data about your use of our website and online services such as your IP address details, your browser, length of visit to pages on our website and page views, details about the number of times you use our website and other technology on the devices that you use to visit our website. This is sourced from our analytical tracking system. We process this data to analyse your use of our website to deliver relevant content and advertisements to you. Our Lawful ground for this processing is our legitimate interests which are to enable us to offer relevant services to our customer and to help grow our business. 

 Marketing Data 

Includes data about your preferences in receiving marketing from us and your communication preferences. We process this data to enable you to partake in our promotions such as, free taster sessions, resources, to deliver relevant content on our website or via social media and to provide advertisements to you. It also helps us to understand the effectiveness of our advertising. Our lawful ground for processing this data is our legitimate interests in understanding how customers use our services. This enables us to develop the services that we offer, grow our business and to decide how to market our service offerings. We may use Customer Data, Personal Data, User Data, Technical Data and Marketing data to deliver to deliver relevant website content and advertisements to you (including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok  or other display advertisements through social medial platforms) and to measure or understand the effectiveness of the advertising that we serve to you. Our lawful ground for processing this data is either consent or legitimate interests (mainly to grow and develop our business). We will only use your personal data for the purposes of which it is collected or for a reasonable, compatible purpose, if necessary. Under the privacy and Electronic Communications regulations, we may send you marketing communications if (1) you asked for information about our services (2) you agreed to receive marketing communications, and where you have not opted-out of receiving such communications. Under these regulations, if you are a limited company or LLP, we may send you marketing emails without your consent. However, you can still opt out of receiving marketing emails at anytime by contacting us at privacyenquires@soartyp.co.uk 

If you opt out of receiving marketing communications, this opt-out does not apply to personal data provided as a result of other activities such as asking for information about our services.

They will only process your personal data on our instructions and will keep it confidential. You will not have to pay a fee to access your personal data or to exercise any of your individual rights. We may need to request specific information from you to help us confirm your identity and ensure your right to access your personal data or to exercise any of your other rights. This is a security measure to ensure that personal data is not disclosed to any person who has no right to receive it. We try to respond to all legitimate requests within one month. Occasionally, it may take longer if your request is particularly complex, or you have made a number of requests which in this case we will notify you. 

Please note, if you choose not to provide personal data or withdraw your consent for the processing of your personal data, we may not be able to offer some of our services, for example we may not be able to design and /or deliver the appropriate development or coaching solution to meet your requirements.
